Colm Wilkinson, the original Valjean and Phantom, is currently on a 'Bring Him Home' UK Tour and Apex Acoustics were asked to provide the lighting and sound for his only Scottish date.

Colm who also played Valjean in the 10th Anniversary Concert at the Royal Albert Hall and the 25th Anniversary Concerts of Les Misérables at the O2 London and Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall, played the Edinburgh Playhouse in June 2013 to an 1000-strong crowd.

Apex Acoustics provided a large Meyer Sound system to cover the Edinburgh Playhouse which consisted of Meyer M'elodie and Mina left and right, Meyer UPM-1P's and 2P's for front fill, Meyer 600-HP and 650-P for sub bass. On stage monitors consisted of Meyer UM-100P's and UM-1P's.

Front of house was mixed on Apex's DiGiCo SD10 and the monitors on-stage were mixed by the Apex's DiGiCo SD8.

Apex also provided a lighting rig which consisted of over 40 LED lights located above the stage, rigged on booms stage left and stage right and on the stage floor. Out front, generic lights provided front light for Colm and his band.

Colm's concert consisted of songs and stories and he kept the audience guessing if he was going to perform his signature song, 'Bring Him Home' and the audience loved every second of it.
