Apex Acoustics recently supplied sound to Dundee's Flower & Food Festival for the 25th year running.

The Flower & Food Festival which takes place every year at Dundee's Camperdown Park, has a wide range of displays and events for all members of the family. The event also welcomes special guests which this year included The Great British Bake Off judge, Paul Hollywood and 2012 Finalist James Morton as well as The One Show's resident gardening expert, Christine Walkden.

Apex Acoustics have been supplying sound to the event for 25 years and this year was the first time the Flower Show included Apex's LED lighting for the cooking demonstrations.

Apex ensured that sound was covered to the whole site of Camperdown by using their Line Array Towers with Meyer Sound M'elodie projecting across one of the main areas. At other key locations, Meyer Sound UPA-1P's were deployed to ensure that all announcements were heard. Control for the whole site was done using a DiGiCo SD11 and a Meyer Sound Galileo 616.

Meyer Sound CQ's, 650-P's, UPJ-1P's and UM-1P's were at the Music Stage with control at Front of House from a DiGiCo SD8 and MADI Rack for the entertainment during the weekend.

In total, over 30 loudspeakers were distributed around the site to ensure high quality audio was heard through out the weekend. The Apex team were on site for the whole week to ensure the smooth running of this year's Festival.
